Emigration and Parleys Canyons

Elopement

Emigration Canyon and Parleys Canyon are located in the Wasatch Mountains and connect near Little Dell Reservoir. This mountain range has numerous picturesque settings featuring red rock influences, waterfalls, and forests that are perfect for an elopement destination. Although having only one wedding venue in the canyon, Louland Falls, this is a beautiful option for an eloping couple. However, due to its location, this wedding venue is only open May through mid-October. Just outside Emigration Canyon is This Is The Place Heritage Park which features 11 different venues to fit every budget. From rustic to elegant, a couple eloping is sure to find a venue to fit their needs. Suggested activities to take part in while visiting Parleys and Emigration Canyon include:

● Recreational paddling and angling at Little Dell Reservoir. There is a $5 fee for a day pass at the Little Dell Reservoir ranger station. The location is closed from October through April, at which point visitors will need to portage their equipment down to the reservoir.
● Other activities include hiking, biking, non-bait fishing, visiting Ruth’s Diner for a bite to eat, and picnicking.
