Unique Elopement Destinations

Snowbird

If you are looking for an elopement destination close to Salt Lake City, look no further than Snowbird Ski Resort, just 40 minutes from the heart of downtown. Located in Little Cottonwood Canyon this world-class ski resort provides breathtaking views from the top of the tram or at the base lodge. No matter the season snowbird is always a must-see destination but we would recommend eloping in the summer or fall for the scenic tram ride to the top! The winter is also a stunning time to visit Snowbird, but we recommend calling ahead for the tram hours for non-skiers to get to the top. If taking the tram to the top is not you’re thing and would prefer a more intimate setting, then we recommend hiking one of the many trails around Snowbird in the summer or fall seasons. For more information, we encourage you to visit Snowbird’s website where you can learn more about the mountain offerings https://www.snowbird.com/weddings/

Different seasons provide different kinds of beauty depending on what a couple desires for their special day. The summer months would be our main recommendation for when to get married here, the months of June-August give you temperatures mainly in the 70s and 80s and the beautiful, clear water and beaches provide awesome swimming, boating, fishing, offroading, and more experience. Fall is another beautiful season at Bear Lake tends to get chilly, but the fall leaves scattered across the mountains make for a breathtaking view.
